Please include: Name and address to be mailed to along with full or partial name. The wall is alphabetized so finding names is fairly easy.

A full rubbing on 8x11 paper
A digital picture of name
A digital picture of wall segment
This site is free because: the cost to drive there , the paper, and the stamp cost next to nothing, and I personally enjoy doing something nice for people.

Our goal is to provide the link to remembering your loved ones. Remembering the Battle of Okinawa through stories, pictures (past and present), maps, and whatever else that is deemed appropriate for this site.
Purpose of this Site
If you've had family or friends that were lost during the Battle of Okinawa this is the site for you to request a rubbing of the name. Once a month volunteers from military bases and local Okinawans will make a trip to Peace Memorial Park to retrieve rubbings of names carved into marble. After three attempts, this site finally has all the names that are engraved on the wall posted for review.
